Board of Directors
Gerasimos (Jerry) Kalogiratos
Chairman of the Board, Executive Director
Mr. Kalogiratos is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company and an Executive member of the Board of Directors. He has over twenty (20) years of experience in the shipping industry and international capital markets. He has been actively involved in a number of significant capital markets transactions, including the initial public offering and listing of Capital Product Partners L.P. on NASDAQ in 2007, the issuance of three common bond loans by the Capital Product Partners L.P. group (subsequently Capital Clean Energy Carriers Corp.) in 2021, 2022 and 2026, the bonds of which were listed on the Regulated Market of Euronext Athens, as well as the listing of Capital Tankers Corp. on Euronext Growth Oslo in 2026. Since June 2015, he has served as Chief Executive Officer of NASDAQ-listed Capital Clean Energy Carriers Corp. (NASDAQ: CCEC), on whose Board of Directors he has served since December 2014, and he also serves as Chief Executive Officer of Capital Tankers Corp. (Euronext Growth Oslo: CAPT). He is also a member of the Board of Directors of CMTC, the principal shareholder of the Company. He previously served as Chief Financial Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of NYSE-listed Crude Carriers Corp. until its merger with Capital Product Partners L.P. in September 2011, and as a member of the Board of Directors of NYSE-listed Diamond S Shipping Inc. from 2019 to 2021. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the West of England Ship Owners Mutual Insurance Association and sits on the steering committee of the Maritime Emissions Reduction Centre (M-ERC), a research centre focused on reducing emissions in shipping.
Mr. Kalogiratos holds a B.A. in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of Oxford and an M.A. in European Economics and Politics from Humboldt University of Berlin, and has completed an executive education programme in finance at London Business School.
Johannes Kock
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Mr. Kock is the Chief Executive Officer of the Company (not a member of the Board of Directors) and has more than thirty (30) years of experience in the shipping industry, particularly in container shipping, shipbroking, chartering, commercial management and ship ownership, having served as Container Director at Container Carriers Corp. and Managing Director of Maersk Broker Hellas.
In the course of his senior management roles, Mr. Kock has gained significant experience in the strategic development of container fleets, including vessel selection, fleet management and chartering strategy.
Mr. Kock holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from Syddansk Universitet (SDU).
Niovi Iasemidi
Non-Executive Director
Ms. Iasemidi is a Non-Executive Director of the Company. She has more than nineteen (19) years of professional experience in the investment and maritime sectors. Since March 2026, she has served as Chief Financial Officer of Capital Tankers Corp. (Euronext Growth Oslo: CAPT). Prior to joining Capital Tankers Corp., she served as Deputy Chief Financial Officer of Capital Clean Energy Carriers Corp. (NASDAQ: CCEC) and as a non-executive director on the Board of Directors of Heidmar (NASDAQ: HMR). Previously, she held the position of VP Finance at CMTC and was a Principal at Hayfin Capital Management. Before that, she spent nearly a decade at TMS Cardiff Gas, where she held the position of Director, Finance & Business Development. She began her career at Morgan Stanley and Société Générale.
Ms. Iasemidi is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and holds an MSc from the London School of Economics and a BSc from the University of Warwick.
George Cambanis
Vice-Chairman of the Board, Independent Non-Executive Director
Mr. Cambanis is the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors and an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company, with more than forty (40) years of professional experience in audit and accounting, international shipping and the capital markets. He is the founder and former Chief Executive Officer of Deloitte Greece, as well as the founder (2004) and former Global Leader of Deloitte’s Shipping & Ports industry group.
During his career at Deloitte, Mr. Cambanis gained extensive experience advising shipping companies on international capital markets transactions. In 2004, he founded Deloitte’s Global Shipping & Ports industry group, which he subsequently led globally. He was actively involved in the initial public offerings and listings of shipping companies on the NYSE and NASDAQ in the United States and, since leaving Deloitte, he has been active as an investor, board member and strategic adviser to technology, financial technology (fintech) and maritime technology companies, as well as venture capital firms. His activities include, among other things, advising companies that develop technology and financing solutions for the international shipping industry. In addition, he served as an independent director on the Board of Directors of NYSE-listed Diamond S Shipping Inc. from March 2020 to 2021.
Mr. Cambanis qualified as a Chartered Accountant in South Africa after completing his Articles of Clerkship with Coopers & Lybrand in South Africa. He is a retired member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) and of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Greece (SOEL).
Stefanie Kyles
Independent Non-Executive Director
Ms. Kyles is an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company with more than twenty (20) years of experience in the international shipping industry. She has held key management and executive positions with a focus on shipping corporate law and cross-border finance. Ms. Kyles began her career at Norton Rose Fulbright in Greece as a lawyer admitted to practise in both the United States and the United Kingdom. Upon returning to the United States, she first joined the shipping investment banking group of Jefferies, focusing on the execution of initial public offerings (IPOs) of international shipping companies. She subsequently joined the international management team of Poten & Partners, a leading shipbroking and advisory firm, as General Counsel and President of its capital raising division. In these roles, Ms. Kyles has advised numerous listed and private shipping companies on strategy and capital structure matters. Following her departure from Poten & Partners, Ms. Kyles led her family business and served on the boards of directors of private companies. She has been a member of the New York State Bar and of The Law Society in the United Kingdom.
Ingmar Loges
Independent Non-Executive Director
Mr. Loges is an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company. He has more than thirty-five (35) years of experience in the domestic and international shipping markets, having served as a senior executive in the field of shipping finance.
Since joining Alantra in 2022, he has served as Senior Advisor in the Maritime & Offshore Investment Banking team, where he is responsible for covering the German market and developing the team’s activities in Germany. He also has extensive experience in ship repair and ship conversion/upgrade services, which complements his expertise in shipping and maritime transport.
Previously, Mr. Loges served as Global Head of Shipping for three years at DVB Bank and for four years at HSH Nordbank, and held senior management positions at UniCredit for seventeen (17) years (ten (10) of which as Global Head of Shipping). In 2000, he founded and led UniCredit’s global Shipyard Consulting Services, a pioneering advisory platform in the shipping industry.
George Keros
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Mr. Keros is the Chief Financial Officer of the Company (not a member of the Board of Directors). He has over eleven (11) years of experience in investment banking, international capital markets and financing transactions, specialising in the shipping and maritime infrastructure sectors. Prior to joining the Capital Maritime Group, he was a Senior Vice President in the Maritime Investment Banking group of Jefferies in New York, where he was involved in the execution of more than 30 transactions with an aggregate value of over US$14.0 billion, including mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions. Previously, he worked at RMK Maritime Capital and the Navios Maritime Group in New York. He holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
